Washington, May 21 — Rock band ‘The Doors’ is all set to release a new three-CD box set that will feature the highlights of the group’s last tour.

The collection that will feature rare audio from the band’s early and late shows, will appear on ‘the Doors Live In Boston ’70’ album.

The CD highlights the American band’s show at Boston Arena that took place on April 10, 1970.

The band had earlier released their ‘Absolutely Live’ album which has performances of The Doors’ 1970 American tour and of the 1969 Aquarius Theatre gig.

The Doors was formed in 1965 in Los Angeles by keyboardist Ray Manzarek, vocalist Jim Morrison, drummer John Densmore, and guitarist Robby Krieger.

The CDs also feature notes from surviving members of the group.

Drummer John Densmore has recalled that during the Boston performance the band’s frontman Jim Morrison was very boozy.

“A Surgeon General’s warning should be stickered on this recording, because Jimbo is ripped… but he is so damn passionate and still hits all the cues with the band, so all I can say is ‘In Vino Veritas'(in wine is the truth),” Contactmusic quoted Densmore, as writing.
